The brief: To thank the huge number of people that had contributed to Silverspan's success in 2001.
December 2001, the IT industry was shell-shocked after a year of horrendous layoffs and corporate collapses. Most IT companies had felt it necessary to cancel their client Christmas festivities.
The solution: The Silverspan team conceived a low key direct touch campaign, taking it from concept to completion in 3 weeks.
"Let Angels Guide You" was conceived as a simple Christmas postcard. Using a beautiful silver angel cut-out shape, it elegantly combined our uplifting Christmas wish with the Silverspan brand.
The campaign produced a very strong emotional response, and has been successfully leveraged into a yearly tradition.
Each year, our Christmas cut-out mailers succesfully combine direct marketing with brand image building.
